Wide current and voltage ranges and flexible features make the PWS4000 series power supply a versatile bench instrument. You can build confidence in the power supply output due to the 0.03% basic voltage accuracy and 0.05% basic current accuracy. The remote sensing function eliminates the impact of voltage drop in the lead, and the p-p noise further ensures accurate power measurement results. The list mode and the USB port used for remote programming speed up the development of complex tests. Total control output
All models of the PWS4000 series have an overvoltage protection circuit that reduces the output voltage when the output voltage exceeds the user-specified threshold for any reason. The PWS4000 series also includes a setting that allows accidental voltage regulation to be prevented from exceeding a specified limit.
It is very important to set the corresponding current limit to prevent the damage of the equipment under test. With the PWS4000 numeric keypad, you can quickly and accurately specify the current limit before starting the test. The current limit can always be seen on the display screen, letting you know this important setting. User-defined passwords lock the front panel to prevent unwanted adjustments during critical test runs.

Intuitive operation
By rotating the knob and selecting the step size, the response of the circuit to voltage or current changes can be easily checked. The direct input numeric keypad simplifies setting precise voltage and current values.
Bright display
Bright vacuum fluorescence displays can see clearly at a distance, at a bevel Angle, or in low light. The user can always see the meter reading and limit, you do not need to press the button, you can see the limit value.
Setup memory
To Save time during repeated tests, simply press the Save button to Save the meter Settings in one of the 40 memory locations. Each time you want to call the Settings, you just press the Recall button to select the Settings you need.
Speed up complex test development
The built-in list mode allows you to specify a custom order of voltage and current steps for your tests. You can define up to seven lists, each with up to 80 steps. Lists can be configured to step through the sequence when triggered externally or when the front panel button is pressed. The length of each step can also be specified, and the instrument will automatically step through the sequence. To increase flexibility, you can use the USB device port on the back panel to simply connect the power supply to a PC for remote programming.
Connect the workbench to realize intelligent debugging
You can use the preferred programming environment to control PWS4000 through the standard device port of USBTMC, and you can also use the special National Instrument version LabVIEW SignalExpressTM software to quickly get the results. Each PWS4000 series power supply is standard with free SignalExpress software, which provides basic instrument control, data recording and analysis functions. The optional pro software comes with 200 built-in features for more signal processing, advanced analysis, scanning, limit testing, and user-defined steps.
