鹽干濕試驗(yàn)機(jī)主要用于戶外鹽污染的環(huán)境中材料的加速腐蝕試驗(yàn)，本設(shè)備是自然狀況，以自然環(huán)境中較常遇見(jiàn)之狀況加以模擬，以數(shù)倍于自然環(huán)境之苛刻條件加以自合測(cè)試，如鹽霧、干燥、濕潤(rùn)、常溫靜置、等環(huán)境加以自合，可任意順序或單獨(dú)執(zhí)行測(cè)試。與傳統(tǒng)試驗(yàn)，如中性鹽霧試驗(yàn)（NSS)、乙酸鹽霧試驗(yàn)(AASS)、銅加速乙酸鹽霧試驗(yàn)（CASS)相比，其在于它能更好地再現(xiàn)發(fā)生在戶外鹽污染環(huán)境下的腐蝕。
