應用介紹：

OG 488 Azide, (also known as Oregon Green® 488 Azide or fluorinated carboxyfluorescein) is a bright, green-fluorescent probe that can be reacted with terminal alkynes via copper-catalized click reaction or strain cyclooctynes

With excitation ideally suited to the 488 nm laser line. The fluorinated carboxyfluoresceins have higher photostability and ionize at a lower pH (pKa 4.8) than fluorescein (pKa ) 6.5), which makes them superior fluorescent dyes for use as reporter molecules in biological systems.

In addition, the absorption and emission of OG-488 dyes (also sold under Oregon Green® 488 trade name) are virtually identical to widely used fluoresceins dyes.

The bination of higher photostability, lower pKa, and excitation ideally suited to the 488 nm laser line makes OG-488 dyes one of the best replacements for the widely used fluorescein dyes.
