Corrosion testing units - general information |
Modern controls of quality and corrosion research need test standards to detect the effect of corrosion on material and products. We know two important kinds of corrosion testing:
The greatest advantage of the laboratory test in a corrosion testing chamber is, that the user gets a quick result of the corrosion of the test samples. The quick reaction is achieved by increasing the temperature and the concentration of the medium, used in the test. |

Liebisch corrosion testing units are designed and constructed especially for these tests. Most of the frequently used standards can be performed with these units. We would be pleased to send you information on this. |
Standards Several types of test chambers are used to test samples to different corrosion conditions. Using temperature and humidity corrosion conditions are created in the test chamber. By adding aggressive test solution or pollution gas the effect can be intensified. |

These units are available with or without automatic ventilation. With the automatic ventilation the user needn’t open the test chamber door during ventilation periods. Ambient air passes through the test chamber. The test chamber temperature range is max. 50°C, the increased operating temperature system (EA) allows a temperature of up to 60°C. |

Gasomat With this unit the required volume of gas is dosed into the test chamber. This manually operated accessory doses gas accuratery via a replacement fluid system. Gas is supplied from a several gas cylinder.

The GEHRING Group offers systems for all honing requirements. The product range of the GEHRING Group includes honing machines for the machining of bores with diameters ranging from 1 - 2000 mm and bore lengths of up to 24000 mm. In addition to honing machines for medium to large-scale serial production, the GEHRING Group also produces honing machines for single-unit or small batch production. The main emphasis lies on the production of honing machines for the machining of engine, injection pump, hydraulics and compressor parts. We aim to constantly increase innovations, productivity and availability of our honing machines.
